IMPACT 

Impact.

  • Through the Cooperative Agreements with the United States Africa Development Foundation (USADF) from 2007  – To date, ADC developed more than 100 projects that has accessed grant ranging from $ 10,000 to $ 250,000 each for capacity buildings and expansion of their businesses.
  • Through a contract signed between National Agricultural Export Board through the Project for Rural Income through Exports (PRICE)-IFAD funded projects for a period of 12 months, June 2019 to June 2020, ADC developed and fine-tuned 752 Business Plans that accessed loans and most matched loan with IFAD grant.
  • “Cooperative Business Management Capacity Building training for 23 horticulture cooperates supported by the National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB) to professionalize their businesses as a pre-requisite to attain export targets. This assignment was completed in collaboration with Q –Point of Netherland and was sponsored by the International Finance Corporation.
  • February 2013- February 2014, provided Training and coaching to members of 8 maize/water users cooperatives, beneficiaries of the Land husbandry Water harvesting and Hillsides Irrigation and Rural Sector Support Project (LWH- RSSP) of the ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources. The training was on the following modules : Entrepreneurship and Business Plan  writing skills; Financial Management and costs of  production; Marketing and Contract Farming;
  • September 2017 to June 2018 ADC trained and coached 16 Cooperatives’ members engaged on maize value chain supported by the USAID-Private Sector Driven Agriculture Growth (PSDAG). The training and coaching focused on Cooperative Governance and member services; Strategic planning; Business planning; Business Management and Supply chain management.
  • For a period 2006-2020, ADC has trained more than 300 women participants on Book keeping and Financial Management; Business Management, Understanding and Identifying markets/ market Analysis; Entrepreneurship Development; Create and Implement Business Plans and access to finance etc.
  • January 2012 to June 2014 ADC and the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) signed an MOU through which ADC was managing the RDB Business Development Service (BDS) Centers in Eastern Province and Kigali City. Major activities that ADC accomplish to the communities around the BDS centers include: Provision of Business Advisory Services; Management Training and Coaching; ICT Services; Consultancy Services to public and private enterprises.
